How we saved a Finchley private GP £5,800 a year
Client F is a private GP in Finchley with mixed income: NHS pension-linked sessions, private consultations through a limited company, and some medico-legal report work. The income sat across PAYE, self-employment and dividends, and nobody had ever joined it up, so the higher-rate and pension-annual-allowance interactions were being handled badly.
Outcome: We mapped all the income streams together, managed the pension annual allowance and tapering, and structured the private work efficiently. Combined saving of about £5,800 a year and an end to the annual scramble over which income went where.
