How we saved a Sutton family retailer £3,800
Client S runs a family retail business in Sutton, second generation, trading as a sole trader long after the numbers said a limited company would suit better. Stock, staff and a lease, but the structure had never been reviewed and the family members helping out were not on the books efficiently.
Outcome: We modelled sole trader against limited company, incorporated where it made sense, and put the working family members onto a proper, efficient footing. Around £3,800 a year saved and a structure that finally matched the size of the business.
