How we saved a Hammersmith agency £6,500 a year
Client H runs a small creative agency in Hammersmith with a handful of staff and a mix of retainer and project clients. The company was profitable but the owner was extracting everything as it came, paying more dividend tax than necessary, with no pension and no use of the available reliefs.
Outcome: We restructured the extraction, brought in employer pension contributions, used the Employment Allowance against employer NI, and timed dividends across the tax-year boundary. Combined saving of around £6,500 a year and a business now retaining a sensible reserve.
