Fixed Monthly Fees No Lock-In Quote in 24 Hours UK-Wide Online Service

Why Fixed Fees

The Quote Is the Price.

Most UK accountancy firms quote on hourly rates that quietly inflate at year end. We do the opposite. Every engagement is priced as a flat monthly fee, agreed in writing before any work starts. The fee covers preparation and filing of your returns, HMRC liaison, ongoing portal access, and the standard four-year prior-return refund review for new clients. Project work — complex one-offs, HMRC enquiries, incorporation, multi-year arrears — is quoted separately as a fixed project fee so the monthly never changes.

The prices below are starting fees. Your exact fee depends on complexity: number of properties, complexity of CIS records, number of payslips per month, whether bookkeeping is included. You will have a written fixed quote within twenty-four hours of your free fifteen-minute consultation.

Pricing Questions Answered

Frequently Asked Pricing Questions

Are these prices fixed or estimates?
These are starting fees — the lowest typical price for each service. Your final fixed monthly fee is confirmed in writing within 24 hours of your free 15-minute consultation, and is based on the complexity of your situation: number of properties, complexity of CIS records, number of payslips, whether bookkeeping is included, and so on. The quote we give is the price you pay — no surprise add-ons at year end.
Why monthly fees instead of one annual charge?
Most clients prefer to spread the cost evenly across the year rather than face a single large bill at filing time. It also keeps the relationship active — meaning we can answer questions, handle HMRC correspondence and provide ad-hoc advice throughout the year rather than only at deadline. If you would prefer to pay annually in one lump sum we are happy to accommodate that too.
Is there a minimum contract length?
No long-term lock-in. Engagements run on rolling 30-day terms. If at any point you decide we are not the right fit, you can end the engagement with thirty days' notice and we will hand over your records and any work in progress.
What about complex cases — multi-year arrears, HMRC enquiries, incorporation?
Project-based work like multi-year arrears clean-ups, formal HMRC enquiry responses, landlord portfolio incorporation, voluntary disclosures or one-off tax planning is quoted separately as a fixed project fee. We tell you what it will cost up front before any work starts. Project fees are typically £400–£3,000 depending on complexity. We never run an open hourly meter.
Do you charge VAT on top of these fees?
All prices shown are exclusive of VAT. VAT at the prevailing standard rate is added to invoices where applicable. VAT-registered clients can typically reclaim our fees as input VAT against their own VAT bill.
What is included in the monthly fee?
Each engagement covers: preparation and filing of the relevant returns, HMRC liaison and agent authorisation, ongoing client portal access, plain-English explanations before any return is submitted, and the four-year prior-return refund review for new clients. Project work and complex one-off cases are quoted separately so the monthly fee stays predictable.
